Blue
Railroad Train
"Kick-Ass
Bluegrass" (USA - France)
| |
| | | |
|
|
Combine
an American veteran bluegrass player and four top French musicians who all share
a common passion for traditional bluegrass and country music -- with the accent
on that bluesy, high-lonesome sound – and you get Blue Railroad Train. The repertoire
is delightfully unpredictable and includes bluegrass and old-time classics as
well as country, swing, and even rock ‘n roll tunes. They also have several original
songs and instrumentals, all firmly rooted in the tradition. |

| This
is a band that plays and sings with an energy that gets an immediate reaction
from the audience. In five minutes, they had them out of their seats and dancing
in the aisles. Franz Elsener, Over Easy Festival |

| There
is a certain hard-driving bluegrass sound that just won't let you sit still. Call
it "Kick-Ass Bluegrass". Often at a Blue Railroad Train concert, audience
members will spontaneously get up and dance. For this band, that's what bluegrass
is all about: energy, entertainment, and fun! | |
